lochnagar - 25th November 2025

Tuesday the 25th of November. Snow had been falling to the low ground over the last week or so which meant that there would be higher amounts on the hill tops. With snow lying to around 400m the accumulations soon increased with altitude and by 650m the snow was well over ankle depth.By 850m this had increased to knee depth and higher. Here are some of the scenes from about 1100m above the corries of the famous Lochnagar plus a Red Deer Stag silhoutte at dawn in Glen Muick.
